Qualiquant is the agency implementing the annual in-country monitoring and evaluation/knowledge management on behalf the Alliance for Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA) in Kaduna and Niger states in Northern Nigeria. The proposed methodology includes: data collection for selected thematic/special studies which contributes to a number of AGRA indicators as well as impacting other socio-economic studies for AGRA and monitoring and evaluation/knowledge management of the project. The project consists of other approaches entailing quantitative data collection, systems’ performance analysis, policy analysis, value chain analysis by means of Identifying unintended outcomes and emerging opportunities and document impact/success stories, best practices, lessons learned, successful innovations, opportunities, gaps, challenges, and processes/approaches of implementation of grants on agricultural productivity and economics. A sample size of 768 respondents among the target population of VBAs, Agrodealers, seed agents and seed companies were surveyed during the quantitative phase. The interviews were conducted in English and Hausa.
