This study examined the economic challenges faced by police officers serving in the Isle of Man Constabulary (IOMC). It compares cost of living factors between the Isle of Man and select regions and towns of the United Kingdom, with a focus on forces bordering London that receive location-based allowances. The report aims to test several hypotheses related to housing costs, internet and utility expenses, consumables, and taxation on the Isle of Man compared to the UK.
